Live Video 101
An introduction to the essential concepts and practices of effective live video production, including an overview of the evolution from analog to digital, system component operation, camera techniques, shading and color correction, robotic cameras and switcher operation. Video 101 & 102 are 12-week, five-hour courses intended to equip students to operate and manage video systems in medium to large-sized venues with an emphasis on facilitating concerts and other live events. Video 101 will serve as a prerequisite for 102 and all other Video courses. Includes weekly 2 hour Lab and hands-on volunteering in Tech Arts.
